They’re round, rubber, and might be the most important part of your vehicle. Yes, that’s right cupholders! Maybe not, let’s focus on tires here.

It has been a couple months and a few thousand more miles since we published our initial Geolandar review and not a whole lot has changed. The Yokohama 37 x 12.5 R 17 Geolandar G003 M/Ts barely show any signs of wear, they are still a very quiet off-road tire and aren’t showing ANY signs of…
For the last 5000+ miles, I have been testing out a new set of Yokohama’s 37 x 12.5 R 17 Geolandar G003 M/Ts. I went through my normal routine of taking notes on several categories we always make sure to cover like install, road noise, overall performance, and other observations. Around the 4WAAM offices, we really like doing tire reviews. Comparing tread life, debating aesthetics, and arguing who makes the best tire has led to some pretty epic arguments. In the case of the General Grabber X3, the people are split on the red letters but we all agree on the performance.

General Tire is a subsidiary of Continental Tire AG and has been making tires since 1915 when the company was founded by two Akron businessman William F. O’Neil, “W.O.” and his partner, Winfred E. Fouse. They immediately focused on premium replacement tires instead of O.E.M. tires, a focus that continues today.
Took our new tires and rims to the local installer to have them balanced yesterday. DOT certified bead lock wheels fitted with 37 inch tires seemed like they would be a hassle to balance and make road worthy.
It’s been quite some time since the initial review of the Falken WILDPEAK MT-01 on road review. My schedule has been so busy that going off road has been put way too far on the back burner. That was remedied this past weekend and hopefully, there is more to come.
We just love new tire reviews around here. That fresh tire smell, the excitement after mounting a new set, the anticipation of how they will handle all of the terrain we throw at them.
