Pinterest is a great and wonderful site. Recipes abound, there are cars, motorcycles, and everything else you might want to look at in one place. That’s where I stumbled on this recipe and we made it for dinner the other night.

We made some minor modifications to this recipe. We used Thousand Island dressing as a sauce layer before the meat and cheese, added banana peppers, and didn’t use the ketchup as a topping. It was far too powerful a flavor as a topping. If we did it again I would have put the ketchup over the meat and under the cheese and then cooked it so it blended in better.

Thin Crust Hamburger Pizza

1 Flatout® Flatbread Artisan Thin Pizza Crust
1/2 cooked ground beef, cooked
2 Tbsp. ketchup
1 small tomato, cut in medium pieces
3 Tbsp. cooked bacon pieces
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella/Cheddar blend cheese
6 slices sweet pickles

Place flatbread on a cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for two minutes. Remove from oven. Top flatbread with cheese, beef, and bacon. Return to oven and bake 4 more minutes or until cheese melts. Remove, Top with pickles and ketchup.

Grill method: Pre-bake the flatbread on the grill for 1-2 minutes. Remove flatbread from the grill. Top flatbread with cheese, beef, and bacon. Return to Grill. Close lid. Grill for 4 more minutes or until cheese melts. Remove top with pickles and ketchup.
