Nothing to report just a couple of photos to show the upgrades that just occurred this week! We will have full features and the build article very soon. For now just some teaser shots to show of the goodies. Special thanks to World Tour Off Road Equipment for their support and time.
Whew things are hectic. Yours truly does a lot of writing, testing, writing, and well writing. Someday something will have to give but right now it’s a lot of fun. So Project Overland update here we go! New shoes for the Big Red Rocker (BRR). OK silly name but with three Jeeps I have to […]
An event for overland drivers seems like a really difficult thing to pull off. The idea of overland travel centers around independent vehicle assisted travel carrying everything you need to be fully self-sufficient. Packing almost 100 people into an event, where independent travel and self sufficiency are the key components, is very counterintuitive to that ethos.
Whew have we been busy. Eventually we will start getting the stories on the screen but for now we have to make them. First is the big news. We are changing the name of the project from “Project Hard Rock” to “Project Overland”. Why you ask? Well what started as one Jeep to chase a […]
Old Man Emu (OME) is known the world over for the ride quality and handling of their shocks, springs, and suspension kits. We previously wrote about installing the OMEJK4 kit on Project Overland that you can read here.
Like the title says we are installing the ARB USA Old Man Emu 4 inch lift. It is an all in one kit designed to take your stock JK and lift it over 2 inches with just exhaust spacers needed for maximum articulation.
Big tires plus tail gate mounting equals rattles, bangs, and bent hinges. Well, not anymore thanks to TeraFlex and the HD Hinged Tire Carrier.
So you got the lift picked out, every color matched accessory, and LED lights bright enough to rival the sun. Then you look at those sad stock wheels and tires.
Few vehicles offer a purer connection to the road than the track-focused Ariel Atom. Possibly a Lotus 7 or KTM X-Bow comes close. It looks like the British automaker will be bringing that kind of relationship to the dirt.
Kumho tires began in South Korea over 50 years ago and are now the 9th largest tire supplier in the World. Pretty impressive considering all of the manufacturers out there on the tire market.
It’s finally arrived. The worst kept secret in the auto industry the Jeep truck was unveiled earlier this week. Every detail you wanted to know about the all-new Gladiator and the history of Jeep trucks is written below. All credit goes to FCA USA. We have also compiled every video released so far on the […]
A lot has changed since we began reviewing the OMEJK4 suspension system. New tires, new wheels, new suspension, winch installed, and new exhaust just to round out the changes. Life is a constant change, and reviews can’t be done without actually testing the equipment.
