TeraFlex manufactures components for the Jeep Wrangler including premium suspension systems and performance shocks, heavy-duty axles and low-range gearing, body armor, and more. With our roots dating back to the 1950s beginning as MEPCO (Military Equipment Parts Company), a distributor of Jeep parts and accessories, we have gained a vast knowledge of the various CJ/Wrangler platforms.

In the fall of 1996, TeraFlex began manufacturing parts in-house to fulfill the need for heavy-duty off-road suspension pieces and equipment for the then-new TJ Wrangler. Our experience and knowledge have allowed us to create the unique and innovative parts and accessories that fill out our product line today ensuring TeraFlex’s dominant hold on the Jeep market.

Not only was TeraFlex the first manufacturer to engineer a suspension system for the TJ Wrangler’s all-new coil spring suspension, but we are the only aftermarket company to offer a solution for the venerable 231 transfer case’s low-range gearing. Then in 2001, TeraFlex stunned the entire off-road industry with the TJ’s CRD60 – an off-road specific high-pinion differential based around the Dana 60 axle platform. The CRD60 took innovation to a new level, reinforcing our position in the industry.

TeraFlex continues its stronghold on the Jeep market offering the most comprehensive lineup of performance components for the JK Wrangler and JKU Wrangler Unlimited compared to any other competitor to date. We live for exploration and experiencing the great outdoors. We enjoy spending time in our trucks and believe in innovation, quality, and value across our product lines. In fact, these are the core pillars of our business, just like they were when the company was founded back in 1958 by Gunther Jacobs.

In 1958 Jacob Spring works was formed, Gunther later became known as the Ironman, which eventually became our brand name.

With the growth of 4×4 vehicles, we expanded our suspension offering from coil and leaf springs into shocks and a full complement of products for the best-known vehicle manufacturers in the world. To this day, Ironman 4×4 still designs and develops products for various armed guards and military divisions around the world, where strength and dependability are paramount.
